Android Studio, IntelliJ Idea, RubyMine, WebStorm, PhpStorm, P圜harm. Anecdotally, thus far, excluding PopClip from the JetBrains apps seems to be solving that problem, but I can’t be sure that’s the real issue. LaunchBar, Coda, Espresso, PopClip, Sublime Text, Atom, Chocolat, Emacs, Vim. So if I copy PopClip, I get PopClipPopClip. Instantly copy & paste, and access actions like search, spelling, dictionary and many, many more. What happens is I select text (often with the mouse), and then paste. PopClip Extensions add extra actions to PopClip. PopClip appears when you select text with your mouse on your Mac. I do have issues with memory usage of the JetBrains tools, paricularly on the Intel Mac, but thought posting here would be a good start, All of them are running the latest version of PopClip and the latest version of macOS Monterey (except the MacBook Pro, that’s running the latest Monterey beta). I use P圜harm but I think there is considerable heterogeneity in preference. I’ve experienced this across 3 Macs, an M1 MacBook Pro, an M1 iMac, and a 16" Intel MacBook Pro. If you want to start coding in Python, its best to download an IDE. After extensive digging around I found a thread on the JetBrains bug tracker which seems to imply PopClip is the cause. I’ve been experiencing some weird issues on my Macs for a while now, and in the last week I’ve been having serious issues pasting into any JetBrains IDEs while text is selected.
